2nd Visit: I ate the brown sauce chicken in a thick gravy with really good seasoned white rice/black eyed peas and cut greens. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL and it fed me three times. That's how big this meal is. Seems like today's the day for reviewing places I've eaten at in the past year and this take-out is one of them. The Chicken Jerk is the best I've had. It had just the right amount of spice and the portion was huge. I actually ate it for lunch and dinner because of the portion size. Go there. You won't regret it.

Yummy , I am eating right now and stopped to write a review. So much food. This is enough for 2 people easily. The food was hot fast and tasty. I ordered the salmon and it is delicious. Not spicy at all, I will have to try the jerk next time. I ordered white rice and received the beans and rice but that’s ok because the rice is delicious. I would add drinks to the delivery options but I called before I ordered to work out that option. Who ever answered the phone was very nice and accommodating. I will order from Island Spice again. I really also enjoyed the cabbage because it not greasy or overcooked. 5 stars ⭐

Very friendly and clean. My first time trying Jamaican food. She took the time to explain and help me pick my first dish. I had Oxtails and they were amazing. My husband had curry chicken. I also got some beef patties. I've been a couple of times since then. I finally triedsomething different. Brown Stew Chicken.

This Jamaican Restaurant is fairly new, opened 2-3 years ago. It's on a main road so you can easily spot the place. The restaurant is very small, when you walk in there's barely any room to stand and wait in line for your food. There's two small high tables with two high chairs, but the restaurant is so small it gets crowded very easy with people bumpinginto each other, so nobody is incentivised to stay and eat at the high table. BThey get a lot of orders to go and for delivery, so they can be quite busy. ut that's the only problem I see with this restaurant. The food is amazing! Their food is hot, well seasoned, and authentic. I got the curry chicken, and my husband got the jerk chicken. For a $15 meal, it's a huge meal and they stuff your box pretty full, so it's worth the $15. I would order online and try out their food when you can.

This was I nice change for the pittsburgh area. When I walked in the guy was cleaning the door and windows. The Staff was very nice and the food was excellent one of the best jamaica eatery I have been to. I only thing you need to be aware of is if you park across the street be extremely careful because cars fly down the street in both directions. Also if you don't finish the food Do Not reheat in the container they provide you transfer to a microwave safe plate. ENJOY PEOPLE this is definitely a hidden gem.

I got the jerk chicken w rice & beans & cabbage. I also got a veggie patty. My friend got the macaroni salad. All the food was very good. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I was not a fan of how the cooked, whole, bone-in pieces of chicken was cut into smaller pieces so it was super sloppy and I had to pick at all the chicken. I'd rather have 1 or 2 whole pieces of chicken. Other than that, everything was awesome! I will definitely be back and I will try some other meat. I will also get the macaroni salad because that was soooooo good. My favorite thing actually. Was sweet a little. The flavor of the cabbage was awesome too.
